Open device manager and expand IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers.
There you see Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller, that is the device driver that needs to be updated.
Check if you can update it via device manager.
Says all has the newest driver update.
This is how it is set up, and the ones I tried to update:
- IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers
- Asmedia 106x SATA Controller
- ATA Channel 0
- ATA Channel 1
- Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller
- Storage Controllers
- Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller
Hi Lokehest,
I was going through your event log text file that was in your latest uploaded zip file and I noticed that the exact same minute that the BSOD hit, Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power reported that your CPU temperature hit 379 Kelvin or 105 Celsius.
What kind of cooler system do you have installed for the moment?
At the moment I have 2 fans in the front, 2 in the back, and another on the CPU.
then the ones that comes with the PSU and GPU
Did not think it would reach that high.
I can look over it and sense if theres heat the next time, dont have measuringequipment for such.
Will do
Played 5min of heroes of the storm, then the game crashed, on opening the game again the computer crashed. No bsod, but just restart. Lately my Shockwave flash player crashes when watching streams or playing flash games/watching video's, dont know if its connected, but wanted to let you know...
on realtemp when the restart occurred the highest temp was on 88C at max as I watched it, all fans running.
Yesterday I had the fans on medium and did not watch the temp.
