BSOD Downloading Files / Can't Locate .dmp files

    Hey,

Essentially - every time I download a file (Steam, Internet, etc.) there's a chance after an arbitrary amount of time passes that the PC suffers from a BSOD.

This has occurred since I initially purchased the pre-made PC from Mesh.com, & I've just about had enough of it now.

My PC doesn't seem to be generating .dmp files either (though it did before), as I'm looking in %SystemRoot%\Minidump with nothing there.

Some PC details I've added to my profile, just re-iterating that I'm on Win 7 64-bit, 32gb RAM, i7, with a pair of GTX 970s system.

Any help would be appreciated - I assume a way to generate / locate .dmp files would be a good start..
    Thanks in advance!

It looks like only power loss have occured, no logs about a BSOD.

Check MSI for BIOS updates to start with, when properly done could a BIOS update help :)

Late response - but I was cloning my HDD to SDD which had some rather strenuous complications. But, I've got it working now. Still the same problem though with BSOD.

I'm not sure how to update the BIOS? I have a "MS-7917" according to my System Information, BIOS version 1.5 31/07/2014 <- that sure does seem outdated.

But I'm not really sure where the "update" aspect is.

    I went online, & found this: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/supp...wn-driver&null

Am I installing the Drivers or the AMI BIOS? <- the latter leaving me confused as to what to do.

& now how do I install what? I'm quite confused. If I download the top file, I get a .1c0 file. Where do I put that?

I suggest that you read this PDF careful
