Another 2 BSOD. One before uninstalling Daemon tools and ASUS software. One after.

    Please uninstall Avast while troubleshooting
    Avast - Uninstall Completely
    Code:
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswSnx.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswSnx.sys
    Lets keep this in mind.
The tcpip.sys driver is related to the network, this could mean the network drivers or a 3rd party driver connecting to the network is causing issues.
If uninstalling Avast doesn't help much, a next step would be to update the network drivers.

Ok. Should I install a different AV or just go without for now? Thanks for the help.

I tried installing some optional updates from win update. Windows didn't want to start. Windows repair began and then startup repair ran twice but couldn't fix it. I did a system restore through windows repair and was able to get back into windows somehow.

Please uninstall Avast again and use Microsoft Security Essentials as alternative.

How many updates are there currently?
I recommend to first read their description so you are aware of any changes they make.
Also, before installing always backup first and install them in phases.
