Are you only checking through device manager?

Through device manager 9/10 times you get the message that the driver is updated.

Create a restore point and try to install the driver your manufacturer (HP) gives you.
I know it is not compatible, but the restore point is the backup in case something goes wrong.

Then we're dealing with an incompatible driver, I expected it already because there are no w7 compatible drivers.

W10 won't help, if in w7 no updates are there then for sure none in w10

    But it is your choice

Then what is the solution? I had, about 10 days ago, downloaded the drivers from HP site and installed them.. I had even updated BIOS...

Install Windows Vista or get a new laptop.
