    Multiple BSODs (0x1..7e, 0xf4, 0x1..9f, 0x7a), reappearing.

    Hi there,

i had a very curious problem this afternoon/night. I came back from dinner and started working on my PC again. Shortly after that Windows Froze and threw me a Bluescreen (KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR). After that i restarted normally. Shortly after getting into Windows i got another Bluescreen (0xF4).
This was just the beginning. Sometimes i was able to get into Windows, but most of the time it froze on the Windows loading screen and then a blue screen. I was able to run a chkdsk /f /r on my system SSD, which also froze at the very end (after the completion of step 5) and threw another BSOD (Something with KERNEL POWER - not sure about that).
I was able to chkdsk /f all my drives which did not show me any problems. I also ran memtest86 for about an hour, but it passed with no errors.
After trying alot of stuff i just cut the power of my PC (after it being shutdown) and waited for 10-20 minutes.
I am now able to use my PC normally again without any freezes or BSODs so far. I created the .zip file as described in the "How-to thread". Sadly not all Bluescreens that occured are listed there (i guess because most of the time i wasn't even getting into Windows)

EDIT: Forgot to mention: Today my SSD was not even detected as a bootable device at first. After a reboot it was, but still got BSODd.

    Here are my specs:
    Intel Core i7 4790K 4x 4.00GHz
    ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer Intel Z97
4096MB Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 Windforce 2X OC
500 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 10-CM
    8GB (2x 4096MB) G.Skill RipJawsX DDR3-2133
    System SSD: Samsung SSD 830
    Second SSD: 250GB Crucial BX100

EDIT: Did Scan my System SSD with HDTune. One strange entry (the time does not match with any BSODs):

If you need anything else, just let me know.
    Thank you!

    And they are back again.

After tonight (a cold start) i cannot get into Windows because it always freezes/crashes with Bluescreen.
Is it my Windows installation? Is it my SSD? I still have warranty on most of my PC part, except my System SSD.

    Thanks again. Best,
    Tobias

So i noticed something today. It seems like the BSODs are mainly occuring when i try to cold boot into windows (PC turned off over night for example). This also makes sense in the context of the first one appearing after coming back from dinner (PC was in sleep/power-save mode and came back).

I also checked the Minidump with WinDbg and most of the recorded BSODs were seemingly caused by csrss.exe with the specified error being I/O related. (EDIT: X64_0xF4_IOERR_IMAGE_csrss.exe)

Can the old System SSD still be the cause or should i also take PSU into consideration? All my PC parts are pretty new (~1 Month), except the System SSD (3 or 4 Years).

    Thank you and Best,
    puelo

The only problems i had today occured while trying to turn on the PC for the first time (in the morning).
It was shutdown for at least 3 hours after that (10:40 - 13:40) before i started another memtest (let it run for about 2-3hours).
After that i was able to normally boot into windows. Rebooting also works normally.

Also did some more testing. Tried to turn off my PC for ~1 hour. No Problem booting, no BSODs.
Also unplugged my power supply for ~15seconds while pressing the power button multiple times (to discharge the capicators). Also no problem booting and no BSODs.

So this might invalidate what i said above...

I will most probably report back tomorrow afternoon with the result of my attempt to start the PC for the first time...

EDIT: Added HDTune images in original post.

    Hi axe0,

i have created a new .zip file and removed what you asked for (replaced the .zip in the main-post).
Please note. I had no further BSODs today (even while playing CS:GO!).
But i still do appreciate your help!

I can't load any dump, knowing some reasons why this is happing and a few causes of the crashes you have according to the logs my first suspect is malware.

    Diagnostics Test

     Malware scan

Please run a threat scan with Malwarebytes*, a full scan with your AV, scan your system with Adwcleaner, Kaspersky TTDSKiller and SuperAntiSpyware
       Note
*(Uncheck trial version in the installation process)

There were a few i was able to open. Only 2 or 3 were corrupt. Are you sure that none of those dumps is loadable?
I highly doubt that i have any Maleware on my PC because i am always quite careful and i am already using ESET Smart Security.
If you still think it would be the best course of action i will of course do it!

I can't load any properly and some even open.
Please run the scans. That you are running Eset already does NOT mean your PC is not infected. No AV is 100%, which is the reason for multiple scans.

    Hi @axe0,

i ran every check you mentioned + my Eset Smart Security and nothing worth mentioning was found (some tracking cookies).
I also finished checking each of my drives with HD Tune. Also no errors found.

    No Freeze or BSOD today.
