Make sure your dump logging is enabled.

    1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Double-click System.
    3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
    4. Check Write an even to the system log, and Automatically restart.
    5. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (256k).

    Location of Dumps:
    C:\Windows\minidump

Step 4 - settings were already set as you show.
For Step 5 I changed it from Kernel Memory Dump to Small memory dump (256k).

Were the files I sent not interpretable because of the setting in step 5?

    Thanks

I know, but I have been sitting on this since the end of October because I have been away... if the files point to a driver or anything discernible, pls let me know... that way I can go ahead and update the driver, if applicable, while I have access to this users laptop... It isn't often that I do. Thanks so much!
