BSOD's on Acer notebook. Error 0x0000000a

    Dear community,

I'm getting some random BSOD's lately or my laptop freezes so I have to do a 'hard' reboot. I'm unable to pinpoint what change in my system started to cause the problem but maybe it is after I installed a SSD. But this may well be coïncidence.

I am able to log on and use the laptop but sometimes after a while the laptop freezes or reboots with error code 0x0000000a. The faulty driver differs: ntkrnlpa.exe, ndis.sys and NETIO.sys.

I have ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic for 20-30 minutes and it foutnd no errors in RAM.
I hope you guys can tell me what causes the crashes. Hopefully it is an software issue and easy to fix.

    Thanks up front!

    Hi jhorden,

    Welcome to the 7forums.

I recommend you check Acer for every update, driver and BIOS.

For the AMD display drivers, there is a 'special' procedure for updating because the drivers sometimes don't get replaced properly when updating/reinstalling:
Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Acer.
    Please ONLY install the drivers.

    Hello axe0,

Thank you for your reply. The BIOS is the most recent from the Acer website as well as other drivers.

I have removed the AMD driver with your suggested tool and installed the latest WHQL drivers from AMD. Did you find an error in the minidump about the display driver? Is that most likely the culprit?
