From my little understanding of this ATI AMD dualgraphic card, there is no way to select witch card to use unless i have Catalyst installed, and catalyst will not give me the option because the catalyst software does not detect a valid video card (because the devices are not being identefied) wich is the reason im here, i cant figure out why it wont let me install any driver for the Video card. im currently Runing mem test since my last post its at 6:20 hrs already on test no. 3 it passed 2 already, so im waiting for 7 passes right?

I always add the proviso that if errors come up before 8 passes then one can stop - I say that as there have been instances inthe past where some have gone on for 8 minimum passes when errors have popped up well before then.

That information is something one can find in the tutorial of MemTest86+, which is why I didn't add it directly in my post :)

    OS graphics

    Hi Mike,
    Couple of things to consider,
That comp came with home premium, Reformating with a non HP Ultimate OS, probably killed the Recovery partition which would have been your best bet.
    See if its still there!
Ther would have been an OEM dual graphics controller GUI.

The key you used to Activate your installation will more than likely expire after 30 days unless you reinstall Home premium, if indeed it is currently activated, and if not 200+ updates waiting to be downloaded, possibly including SP1 .

according to your specs you have no AV, get one, its possible that malware has caused this, download and run Malwarebytes free, (uncheck the 30 day trial, and in settings enable Root kit detection).
Change your power settings for battery critical action to shut down, and notification to show pop up at 10%.

Please also follow the directions in this tutorial
Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

    Roy

It might also help to install the USB controller drivers, shown in your screenshot.

Good afternoon, MEMtest has just finish im uploading a pic, i did 9 passes just to be sure,

    Torchwood

    Thank you for joining in,

i have had this headache for almost 9 days now, and i cant eaven work cause photoshop and my 3d rendering software are not working properly,

    Key points,

    1. Before posting here, i had just formated my pc, for some reason my recovery disk where not working, so i deleted all the partitions, and left only a single one, cause i tought that maybe the error was hidding there.

    2. The PC came with 7 home, i installed the Ultimate, should i roll back and format and install 7 home regular?

    3. I have already downloaded like 180 updates, and im currently runing SP 1 * see attachment to make sure im correct.

    4. hence the first coment, i didnt istall any AV because its a fresh install, should i still do a Malwarebytes scan?

Again i thank you all in giving me a hand, im going bananas, figuering all of this out.

Personally I would not much to be gained with the Ultimate or Pro really for general use and while I ma thinking of it can you check the temps on the machine? - your CPU looked rather warm to me. Speccy - Free Download - Piriform

    Hi

Temp is usually around 70 degrees, you see 76 because i had it on top a a blanket, but no over heating, do you think thats what causing my BSOD? i was aiming towards a driver, could it be possible that the GPU is gone?

after the memtest, i did a DDU to uninstall all ati drivers again, and same problem after drivers are properly installed, and i rebot i get BSOD, but like i mention before if i go into safemode, and disble either one of the devices, i can boot normal, but then it gives me the a device manager (code 43) to the device that is enabled.

I think there may be something fundamentally wrong - notice 6 seconds prior to the crash some system critical files failed to load during boot.

Perhaps a clean install with appropriate hardware drivers is the way to go.

Hiyya mikebar mate even 70C at normal running and on a flat surface I would be thinking of looking into why it is that hot.
Just do this even for my curiosity
CLEANING A LAPTOP FAN & COOLER RAD
The thing you do is to turn over the laptop and shine a very bright light into the air intake aperture (you will see the fan there) and then while doing that look at the outlet vent on the end of the laptop you should see the light quite clearly shining through the cooling " radiator" if not - it is clogged and will need cleaning as will probably the fan opening.
You can do this by blowing it out using a compressed air can in short bursts.
BUT ONE WORD OF WARNING DO NOT blow the air into the fan opening without inserting say a plastic rod or large cable tie to stop the fan from spinning as the air blast will spin the fan at a very high speed that it is not designed to take and may wreck the bearing!!
To clean the slots in the radiator use a pipe cleaner or one of those craft covered wire sticks - they are referred to as chenille sticks - see pic. But do be very careful not to be overly heavy handed you will find it might take a second or two or a few minutes to clear the heavier build ups.
