That was just from using HWMonitor. No BSOD last night just a few in-game crashes.

No worries, I did notice today that while gaming the GPU temperature goes higher than I thought (up to 90c). The CPU cores are pretty decent around 67c. Do you think it's worth trying to redo the paste on the GPU? It all looks pretty dust free and the fan is supposedly running at 100%.

That's the GTX 670M, which I thought you weren't using, and may have been the problem all along. Your Intel GPU is supposed to be what you are using. At least that's what I thought. With the Intel, the GPU temp should be the same as the CPU temp.

If you set the Global preferences in the Nvidia Control Panel like I showed, it shouldn't use the Nvidia card. I would like to make sure the Intel works OK before you follow the second part and disable it.

Hi sorry, I went back to using the Nvidia after I still got a BSOD whilst I was only using the Intel. So I thought that meant the Nvidia GPU wasn't the cause. Should I go back to only running the Intel GPU and disable the other one?

Post #18 was where I was running on solely the Intel GPU and had a BSOD after 15minutes of gaming. I've disabled it again now and set the Intel GPU as preferred.

Did you go back to the older version of the Intel Driver from the Manufacturer? As I recall, the only BSOD after I thought that happened was when running Prime. Just keep watch and make sure it is not using the Nvidia card.

Yep atm using the older Intel driver from manufacturer, and should be solely using the Intel GPU.

We need to disable the Nvidia in Device manager and in BIOS if you have that option. But, I first want to make sure you are able to run only the Intel OK first. Depending on what games you are playing, you may need to lower the settings. The low to moderate games should be pretty much OK. You may have issues with some of the high end games.

I'm only playing Heroes of the Storm atm so it's not too graphic intensive, running at 720P on lowest settings the Intel GPU seems to handle it okay. Just had a BSOD after about 20 minutes.

No options seem to exist in my BIOS to disable the Nvidia card so I've just got it disabled in device manager and Nvidia program.
