BSOD while playing Rocket League (No error) - Artifacts

Hello, ealier today I experienced a BSOD while I was playing Rocket League on Steam.
My computer is an old Packard Bell EasyNote TJ75 laptop from 2009. It has been through a lot over the years, I even restored it to factory settings in July last year (Because it ran extremely slow - it was filled to the brink with unnessesary programs and games). After that I have mainly used it as a gaming-computer (Mostly Rocket League), and it ran fine until some days ago.

While playing Rocket League at a friends house, it suddenly froze in the middle of a game - there were vertical artifact-lines on the screen over the game (No error-message). It stayed that way until i decided to force-shutdown. There were no further problems that night. But today it happened again (in Rocket league).

My game froze and artifacts appeared like at my friends house. Before i could take a picture, the computer went BSOD. I did the force-shutdown again and launched the computer again - it ran fine.
I launched Rocket League and played a 1v1 with my friend, where it happened again about 3 minutes in (Freeze and instantly artifacts). I restarted, but when it started up there were artifacts everywhere and the computer didn't go into the boot-screen - the screen just stayed black (BSOD) after the artifacts.

I let it stand there, hoping for a windows-launch, but nothting happened. I tried several times, with the same result.

There after I waited a hour or two before launching again - here it worked fine and i'm now on my PC writing this. But i'm afraid of launching any game.

Personally I think it has something to do with my graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650) - maybe overheating. But that's wierd, because i had just started the computer and the game when it happened.

I have filled out most of the computers specs in my information. Here it is:
- 286 GB, 4 GB RAM
- Intel Core i5-430M (2.27 GHz)
- 64bit, Windows 7 Home Premium
- My battery has not worked in about 1,5 years, therefore my computer often experiences shutdowns.

I have also created a ZIP-file with the "DM log collector", containing the .dmp-files (Which is attached to this post).

I would really appreciate any kind of advice or solution.
Also if anyone could find the problem from the .dmp-file, that would be a huge help!

Happy New Year!
NiceMike.

Hi NiceMike and Welcome. The MIKKELS-PC folder is empty. Could you please run the dm log collector again and upload it. What version of drivers do you have on the Radeon HD 5650? First try updating the drivers. EasyNote TJ75 Drivers

Thanks for the reply Lance!

So, like an idiot, i tried to fix it on my own. I Used the program "snappy-driver" to update my drivers, where I found out that most of my drivers hadn't been updated since I restored my computer to factory setting (So most of them where from 2009-2010). I Updated them and restarted my computer. There after I tried to launch Rocket League in hope of a miracle. It went as usual (Artifacts -> BSOD) exactly a few seconds after I launched the game. That happened yesterday, and I cannot launch windows at all - there are artifacts everywhere.. With f12 i was able to get a boot-screen, but still artifacts. But after trying to launch windows in safe mode or in some cases "repair-restart", it just goes to BSOD and will not do anything. Therefore I cannot run dm log collector again, what should i do? Is the computer completely finished and is it time to buy a new one?

I took some pictures of the process, which maybe could help sort this out.

If you have no access to Windows at all your most likely looking at a clean install of Windows. Do you have Windows 7 on disk? Did you create a recovery image in a backup partition? You can backup your data to a remote drive using the Ubuntu Live CD Then you could try a clean install. Sorry, there nothing ells I can suggest.

That was the problem most likely, such programs install corrupted/wrong drivers what causes system instability.
If you have a restore point, use it a.s.a.p.
