Cannot boot up windows 7, blue screen flash, enable system protection

Hey I really need help here!! I also know next to nothing about computer 'language' so please be patient!!
I recently installed the 'media go' from pc companion software for my Sony Xperia phone. During installation my acer laptop crashed and now when I boot up I am asked to launch normally - which flashes a blue screen and the laptop restarts automatically. Or I can launch a system repair this is unsuccessful and I can then open the system recovery options.
When trying to do a system restore I am shown two previous restore points but then I am told I must enable system protection on the local disk (C:) drive???
Is there any way of doing this through a command prompt??
    Help!!!!!!

Boot to System Recovery Options . Try Safe Mode with Command Prompt. In the command prompt .... enter the command ....

    start msconfig

It will open the system configuration window, with the "general" tab selected.

    • Click the "startup" tab. Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK.
    • Click on "services" tab. Check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"; Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK

Then try to boot again normally. Is it failing still?

If so, boot to System Recovery Options once again. Try Enable Boot Logging. It will create a file named ntbtlog.txt. Collect it and upload it. If you cannot do it within windows, Boot with a live Linux disc and collect it in a USB stick, use the usb stick in another computer and upload it. It is necessary.

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent

    Hi,

Recently got a problem with my HP PC, with Windows 7. Got that damn blue screen and I am not able to do anything, nor recovering, repairing, backing up or whatsoever...

    Got this message:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.
If this in the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced start up options and then select Safe Mode.

    Technical information:

And it stucks there, I have to power off and then power on the PC (I have no reboot button on it...?!?), but I can't make it work.

I have tried almost everything: start in safe mode, (including Network and Command Prompt), used Startup Repair, Enable Boot Logging, Last Known Good Configuration, Directory Services Restore Mode, Debugging Mode, Disable automatic restart on system failure, Disable Driver Signature Enforcement, Start Windows Normally... burned a boot disk but doesn't work neither, maybe because I didn't get the same version?

My version is Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit Edition - 6.1.7601 (after a research in the Command Prompt).

I have bought this PC on eBay last year, it worked fine until I tried to make some space (the hard drive has a really small capacity, 160 GB). So I don't have any disk that came with it.

Any help will be really appreciate!

    Thanks,
    Alex
