    BSOD when playing some games (maybe when there is lots of flashing)


    Hi there guys i would love some help most of my games are on steam and seem to be geting blue screen and a shut down lots now can yous find any thing up?

    Hello trotters and welcome to Sevenforums! :)

    Your BSOD is caused by nvlddmkm.sys which points to that you have issues with your graphics card.

    So I would recommend that you use Revo Uninstaller (<- click) scroll down and take the freeware download & install. When finished launch it and select NVIDIA from the list of software to completely remove your graphics card drivers, reboot and then visit this site (<- click) and download and install the new fresh drivers.

    ok i done that but now!! when i play some games and there is say a big bomb or bang or flash it black screens and i have to turn the pc of by the button and when windows comes on there is no messages ??

    Black screen and Blue screen, 2 different things where only the bluescreen shows messages and creates dumps.

    Uhm small update.

    Looking through your eventlog, it seems you have a heat problem, when the BSOD happened there was also an entry saying that the _CRT which stands for Critical Shutdown Threshold did register 105 Celsius and that would maybe explain why you never got any message, be it blue screen or other information. Here are some pictures to support my finding:

    Yea I was geting blue screen at 1st but now it blacks on me so.. What I do about heat add more fans

    Either that or check the CPU fan if it is in really bad shape or if you are using a bad one.

    It's new half year old pc? Seems to be runing at 45c when gaming.. Last night it was fine
