Error 124 BSOD under load, suspect my CPU

About a week ago, I moved my computer to a different room. I cleaned the insides with compressed air, hooked up a new SSD, and started getting 124 BSODs while playing Witcher 3. I did more testing, and they happen frequently while under heavy load, and occasionally while browsing and using my computer. If they happen while doing light work (not idling), it is most frequent immediately after launch. A few times it has crashed without any BSOD. I've never had issues with this before, and my build is 2-3 years old. I've tried a lot of stuff and ran a lot of tests, so I'm going to make a list out of it to keep it clean.

• Thought I may have messed up the thermal paste on my cpu, so I reapplied it. Didn't test temperatures before reapplying, but did afterwards. Temperatures are normal with new paste. Didn't affect BSODs at all.

• I did another sweep with the compressed air in case I blew dust somewhere it shouldn't have been.

• Removed the new SSD

• Suspected a memory issue, so I ran memtest85 for 16 hours and found no errors.

• Scanned for malware with Malwarebytes and MSE

• Ran Prime95, I get a BSOD when running blend mode and large ffts, no issues with small ffts.

• Ran IBT, caused a crash, CPU temps stayed in a safe range.

• Ran Furmark, typically BSODs after 1:30. GPU temps reach around 82 C by then, which I believe is considered safe.

• Monitored PSU while running Furmark, voltage levels were extremely stable. Also, I have used my computer in this room before with no issues, so it shouldn't be an electrical issue.

I opened up one of my dump files, and it said the suspected problem was GenuineIntel, which I googled and means I may have a CPU issue, but I don't have anything to swap it with to test, and I'd like to go through all my options before buying anything. I haven't tried reinstalling and repairing drivers and windows, but I've been dealing with this for about a week, and I'd like someone to take a look at my dump files, because I'm not familiar with reading them, and I'm going to have to hunt down a lot CDs unless i find downloads for drivers.

It may help with troubleshooting to mention that my clock has gone haywire. It jumps back in time occasionally. I noticed it yesterday, it may have been off for a longer period of time.

Well you couldn't be further from the truth with that there is a problem with your CPU and to your luck the fix might be in just simple updating your hardware, I noticed that your BIOS version for your motherboard is at 0804 but the lates available is at 1603 and there is an update for the 4th Gen Intel Core processors which you have and this might be the root cause as to why your computer is crashing.

So please head on over to the ASUS Support download page and download the latest BIOS and update it:
