Windows 7: BSOD Error 124 ntoskrnl.exe+4b18cc - During Load

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1
BSOD Error 124 ntoskrnl.exe+4b18cc - During Load

I've been running into this error a few times a day recently. It's typically if the PC is under load - playing games/leaving one running.

It started happening more recently when I upgraded my ram, I've been running memtest86+ but haven't hit anything yet after several passes.

When looking at the blue screen dump, it shows this address, but I'm not sure how to investigate further:

Does any one have recommendations or further information that can be extracted from the dumps?

It's an Alienware Aurora-R1 with 12 GB of G.Skill F3-12800CL9 running Win 7 x64, bios A11. No overclocking has been done and the ram is set to XMP.

Let me know if there's any additional info I should provide.

Windows 10 Pro

Please uninstall Realtemp, it uses a driver that is from 2008 and known for causing bluescreens.

Please check your (motherboard) manufacturer for driver updates for the Silicon Image SATALink controller drivers.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.
  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please run CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID, open it and make screenshots of the following tabs
  • CPU
  • Mainboard
  • Memory
  • SPD*
  • Graphics
*SPD shows the details of each module, you can show the details by choosing different slots in the left upper corner.
Please make screenshots of each module.

Please post each screenshot in your next reply/replies.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

Thanks for the reply and recommendations!

I've attached the CPU-Z screenshots and update my system specs.

I don't see RealTemp. My PC came with ThermalController from Alienware and I've had it disabled, I can completely uninstall it if that's what you were referring to. Or is RealTemp called or listed somewhere else?

Memtest86+ looked okay after 7 hrs when I woke up this morning, however, I left it running while I was out and the PC was off when I returned. Does this indicate a memory/processor/power issue? I don't think memtest leaves a log anywhere right?

Also, I've been running the sticks through memtest86+ on another PC individually. I bought 4 sticks and have only been using 3 in the problematic PC so they can run at 1600. I've been rotating 1 of the sticks out to the other PC and running memtest86+, I haven't found anything on any of them in the other PC yet and even with each stick having been rotated, I still get the crashes.

Is it possible the RAM itself is okay, but is unstable running at XMP even without system overclocks? Should I put it to a lower speed profile?

I'll uninstall those apps/drivers and run through the other tests in the meantime and let you know how they go.

4. Furmark - worked fine, screen attached.
