Remove your reservation in the Windows 10 GWX app and change your Windows Update settings to not treat recommended updates the same as important updates.
Also remove the downloaded files which you can find when you enable hidden files.
Go to the start menu and search for "Folder Options", click "View" and click "Show hidden files, folders and drives" option.
I would like to chime in that you're not the only one experiencing this issue. Almost the same thing is happening to me recently since it all began on or around last Friday 2/5. From my knowledge I didn't install any new hardware or device driver unless something slipped through the cracks like an auto update. The bsods only occurs on Chrome and it happens at random times. Simply opening a new tab can cause it to bsod. I've started using Edge and FireFox without any issues. The error message I see on the bsod screen is "ndis_net_buffer_list_info_illegally_transferred".
I've tried the solutions mentioned before to no avail. I'm at lost ends here with this issue on Chrome.
These are the only 3 hidden files in C:/Windows, I have attached a picture of them selected. Why should I delete these?Usually it is the folder that starts with C~Windows or something.
