    i cant tell since ive just played dota on w7. cant remember what ive played on vista. mainly new games
    do u think u can find some issues from the steam/dota logs?

    I don't know what those logs hold for data and I can't say if I would understand them.

    What games do you mean exactly? Have you tried to play them in w7?

    i meant dota 2. ive attached some dump files. btw there r no official minimum requirements for dota 2.i can play some dota 2 games without any crashes even if they last an hour (avg is like 45min for a match).

    Upload a zip from the DM Log Collector, then you have to upload only 1 file.

    i did. those last 2 files are dota related and wont be collected by ur tool. isnt it an automated script? did u mean i cld hve selected those files within that tool?

    Nope, thought the dumps are from your system.

    Lets check the system requirements for dota 2 to rule that out

    According to DOTA 2 System Requirements | Can I Run DOTA 2 PC requirements you should be able to run Dota 2 at minimum settings.

    You might wanna try:

    sfc /scannow in elevated command prompt.
