Hello coolambo and welcome to Sevenforums! :)

Your BSOD was probably caused by outdated graphics card drivers.

Please follow the link below to download and install the latest graphics card drivers for your card:
    Legacy

    Cheers, /Boris :)

ive received a notifiation that i can upgrade to w10. since there r no oem Drivers for w10 would it b worthwhile to upgrade?
ive also just downloaded the Driver through that link. it gives me an error message Sayin that the signature wold be corrupt or invalid.

It wouldn't be worth it to upgrade to Windows 10, Acer doesn't support drivers for Windows 10 for your laptop.

The problem with the link provided by BorisTheAnimal is that Acer probably tweaks drivers meaning that you have to get your drivers from Acer only.

I have a feeling your drivers aren't compatible for Dota 2, I could be wrong but there is 4 years between the drivers and Dota 2 release.
Have you played Dota 2 earlier before you reinstalled Windows 7?

I already have taken a look at the logs before I posted, but there is only 1 dump present.

    Your previous installation was Vista?

I went to Acer support page for his laptop and the latest AMD driver for VGA was from 2009..

Do you get problems when playing games that are around 2009 released?
