    Inconsistent BSOD at login, csrss.exe at fault? error 0x000000f4

    Hi guys,

    Always found browsing these forums useful, now it's my turn to join and ask for help!

    Have a laptop that has the above issue (BSOD doesn't always occur, but at least 50% of the time) - literally as the user logs in.

    I've run the .dmp files through BlueScreenView and WinDbg which suggested csrss.exe as the fault, but don't know enough to diagnose from them further.

    I've run a chkdsk and sfc, neither presented any problems. Driver verifier however causes an immediate BSOD at boot, but referencing DNPFW.sys so not really sure what driver is causing an issue.

    I've attached the .zip file of collected info - really grateful for any help.

    Cheers

    Hiya and welcome to SevenForums!
    Code:
    BugCheck F4, {3, fffffa800777f990, fffffa800777fc70, fffff80003dd6120}

    Probably caused by : csrss.exe
    Uninstall any Disknet Pro software.

    Since this is an 0xF4 bugcheck, it could mean that there's a virus, a failing harddrive, failing RAM stick/s. Run SeaTools(DO NOT RUN FOR SSDS) SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use Also run MemTest86+ for 8 passes. It must be MemTest86+. RAM - Test with Memtest86+ Scan your computer for viruses using Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
