BSOD Error 0x0000007f - Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap
Hi All,
I have been recently getting BSODs. It seems to happen when I open chrome and restore my last browsing session, although I have been able to open and restore without it crashing, so I am not sure if this is triggering it. Another thing to note is that this problem seems to have started after a power outage. My computer was in sleep mode, and plugged into a surge protector, and ever since I have been having this problem.
I ran some memtest86 overnight, and the only errors it came up with were from the hammer test. From looking into that, it seems like it may not necessarily be bad RAM.
I also ran that bluescreenview tool and it is pointing to the ntoskrnl.exe driver. I can provide more information from this tool if needed.
Lastly, I have tried booting up and running chrome with each stick of RAM individual - both BSODed
Thanks for any help
Edit: I will say that I have opened up an incognito window (so I don't have to restore my browsing session) in chrome to post all of this, and have not gotten a blue screen.
