SOLVED : 7(x64) Totally freeze with 4 gb of ram
Hi everyone
just a little thing, i'll try to do my best with english but if something is not understandable just say me i'll change it
So, this my problem :
I have 4 ram of 1gb, if i use them witout 'remapping memory feature' in my bios all works great.
In this case i've only 3.3 gb of ram usable.
If i activate 'remapping memory fetaure' to use full 4 gb of my ram my computer freeze randomly.
there is never BOSD it just freeze.
Boot is always ok, all seams to be good but sundently it freeze (screen, sound, mouse, keyword) and i have no other choice than hard reboot
My PC :
OS : windows 7 PRO (x64) new instal from DVD all driver update
MB : Asus P5Q-e bios update
CPU : Intel Q6600
RAM : Corsair 4 x CM2X1024-6400C4DHX
Power : corsair 550w
No overclock at all
no overheat
I've try to switch all ram between slot A1 B1 A2 B2 but no result
lot of pass of memtest86+ v4.0 without errors
same with OCCT no problem too
I've try with 2 different powersupply (seasonic/ corsair)
I've try with 2 different motherboard (Asus P5b / P5q)
I've try with 2 other ram switching all
So i've not found any material problem and i've no problem with 3gb then with 4 gb all freeze randomly
do you have any idea ?
thx
