    BSOD When Updating Nvidia Drives.

    Hey guys,

A new version for the Nvidia driver for my GTX970 came out today and i tried updating them.

Firstly what happened is the computer restarted and it went through chkdsk first. I am running two monitors and they were both flickering trying to display something. But i heard the start up sound and i logged in behind the black screens of the monitors and then a couple seconds later i got the BSOD and then the computer restarted.

I then went into safe mode and rolled back the driver but i then got a message saying it couldn't complete or something. So i restarted my computer and it started up and displayed everything perfect, just as normal.

I then went to try and re-install the new drivers again and the same thing happened and i just repeated everything i did before.

The computer is running just as normal while i'm typing this thread.

Any ideas to what exactly happened? Maybe a fault with the driver? Should i wait for the next driver update after this one before i update?

See the screenshot attached for the error codes and such

    Thanks
    Atif

Disconnect the second monitor and then try installing again.

See here, many people are having this issue.
