    Computer Hangs randomly, then BSODed


    Long story short, my computer hangs a lot, shows notifications that something is corrupted (AvastUI.exe corrupted blahblahbla), then this thing appeared:



    I've tried to reboot it a few times, but then it still has the same problem appearing every time. Looking at the Event Viewer, I noticed these:




    (sorry for the unruly photo quality, I just couldn't bring myself to hit Print Screen)

    chkdsk won't work; instead this appears:



    Is there a problem on my disk that I should fix? I can't rely on the System Restore, since it always says that I don't have restore points.

    Run SeaTools DOS to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums

       Note
    Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.
