Please don't forget to read my edit in my post
EDIT: you don't mean a BSOD crash I assume?
could it be that my gpu or psu is failing?
    Why would you think that?

my first post has dump files from last night, so the crashes I'm experiencing right now, might be the same from last night.

cause if its crashing and not leaving dump files, I'm just wondering if its a hardware issue, I dont really know much about this stuff, just the things I've been reading online.

    Thanks for your help!

What kind of a crash is it?
    1. App crash
    2. Shutdown/restart crash
    3. BSOD crash
    4. Freeze crash

Only with a BSOD crash system dumps are created which we analyse, with app crashes app dumps are created on a different location which we don't analyse because the data they contain is different from system dumps.

the screen turns into a solid color, it comes in different colors, green, pink, yellow, black, white, and the audio sometimes get garbled and the only thing I can do is power down and boot the pc to get out of it.

could it be a driver issue? please advise me on what my next steps should be?

That could be a few things
    • Graphics drivers,
    • Software problem, sometimes a conflict occurs but I haven't ever seen that happen so I wouldn't know anything about it.
    • Graphics card,
    • PSU, not enough wattage to properly handle the requirements of GPU is the only culprit I've seen.

it turned out to be my GPU being faulty. I began the RMA process for my TItan X. it stopped after testing my Girlfriends GPU on mine.

Thanks for your help Axe0 and have a good week!
