    Hi,

I am new to this forum so hope you guys are well.

I was wondering whether anyone would know what the problem I am having is?

My PC randomly (normally when clicking an application) gives a blue screen and restarts itself twice a day!

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 2057

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 100000ea
    BCP1: FFFFFA8009A43390
    BCP2: 0000000000000000
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: 0000000000000000
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

I have attached all system documents including dmp files in a file and shared via OneDrive: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...hint=folder%2c

Thanks for your response. Please see the attached file I have uploaded.

    Regards

    Adam

You are running an HP Product ID (PID) on an ASUS board.
    This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.
    Code:
    OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
    OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
    Registered Owner: 316
    Registered Organization:
Product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-00008 <-- HP PID on ASUS board
    Original Install Date: 27/11/2014, 02:14:53
    System Boot Time: 30/03/2016, 20:37:01
    System Manufacturer: ASUS
I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

    Hello.

My work gave me the licence key for Windows 7 as they expensed me for the pc I bought. I am sure the windows key is legit as it does ask me to upgrade to Windows 10 everyday.

I have used this for a few years and had no problems. The bcod only arised recently.

Anything I could do to check?

    Thanks

    Hi zztemp,

Until the activation problem has been cleared up, no support may be provided.
This is per the forum rules

    Hi adampirez,
I only show what I find in the logs.
I would suggest to post the report of Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instruction so somebody can check it to be sure about it. I'll post a request for this if you agree for a check :)
