Gotcha. I have included the details for everything above the Wireless Adapter Settings also.

Change the settings for turning of the hard drive to never please.
After that, see how it goes and report back.
There is still an issue. I turned on the desktop today (first time since changing power settings) and Windows was unable to start and launched startup repair. The startup repair stated, as before, that it could not repair this computer. I then allow it to "Finish" and shut down. After I turn it on again it cooperates until the next crash.
I'm not sure what is going on, I've never troubleshooted this problem before so I'd like to try a few things.
Please boot into your BIOS, look for the 3.3v, 5v and 12v values and post them here.
Diagnostics Test
HDD TEST
Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums
Run following tests
- Short Drive Self Test
- Short generic
- Long generic
If the short generic fails, no need for the long generic.
NoteDo not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.
Run chkdsk
Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums
Run HDTune to
- scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
- check the health,
- benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are
- of the error scan,
- make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
- post screenshots with the benchmark of the
- transfer rate,
- access time,
- burst rate,
- cpu usage.
SeaTools did now work, just gave me a blank screen (see attached)
chkdsk found no problems
HDTune info attached
How do I get the v values in BIOS?
As I said: boot into the BIOS, look for the 3.3v, 5v and 12v values and post them here.
With "post them here" I mean to note the values and tell us what they are.
I booted into BIOS and got a small blue screen with three options. Each option sends me into "windows was unable to start" and gives me the choice to "launch startup repair" or "start windows normally"
I understood you wanted me to post the values. I did not understand how to boot into BIOS.
Startup Repair states it "cannot repair this computer" it also states "failed integrity check and repair, error code oxa"
To get into the BIOS you have to press a key before Windows loads, I am however not sure what key you need to press because that may vary.
What options do you see?I booted into BIOS and got a small blue screen with three options. Each option sends me into "windows was unable to start" and gives me the choice to "launch startup repair" or "start windows normally"
IMHO it sounds more like boot options.
