    BSODs when playing a game and watching a video at same time.


    Ok first things first, my specs:

    For several months now, i have been getting BSODs, primarily whenever i watch a video while i am playing any game. it does not necessarily happen the moment i start the video, but generally within 10 minutes of starting the video i will BSOD. i have successfully played graphically intense games like Overwatch, Dirt Rally, for hours without issue. if I then try to watch a video and continue playing. a BSOD will occur soon after. I have done some extensive googling of my symptoms but haven't found anything that sounds like my issue. i have watched to make sure my temps don't get too high, made sure all components are free of dust. I have not been experiencing any graphics artifacts prior to a BSOD. For some games, the display driver will crash, and relaunching that game will trigger a BSOD. Many of my BSODs are not creating minidumps. i have done a clean uninstall/reinstall of my display drivers twice, but that has not resolved the issue. please help! i will try to quickly provide any additional info you may need.

    Hello Sedge/Mike and welcome to Sevenforums! :)

    I took a quick peek at your files and there hasn't been a a crash in two months if we look at the dmp files. But in the eventlog there are some hints that there have been crashes.

    There is one thing that I'm quite sure it will go homewards. There would be a BIOS update available which would specifically update something that has to do with the CPU called AGESA, so I would recommend that you perform this update, fingers crossed.

    So please without further ado head on over to the MSI Download update page and select the latest one:
    MSI 990FXA-GD80
