BSOD on many different apps. FO4, Chrome,

I've BSOD'd on several different apps, the first was on Fallout 4. FO4 hung and I let it try to recover for a while and when I came back, the entire PC was unresponsive, so I hard reset it. Now I BSOD on chrome, sometimes just with my PC sitting on the desktop. I also have had several apps fail to load when windows loads.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi thedailyaustin,

    Welcome to the 7forums :)

Please check your SSD for firmware updates using Samsung Magician

Please update the BIOS to the most recent stable version, check if the rev. version is correct for your motherboard before downloading, the rev. version is visible on your motherboard.
    GIGABYTE - Moederbord - Socket 1150 - GA-Z97X-SLI (rev. 1.1)

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

       Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I recommend you update the following driver or don't use the related device
    Code:
    xusb21.sys Fri Aug 14 00:10:17 2009 (4A848F49)
    XBox USB wireless controller
BSOD issues in Win7 with 2009 driver (found in mid-2012)
    Driver Reference Table - xusb21.sys
