    BSOD after running gmer.exe(Rootkit Detector and Remover)


    Hallo, i got BSOD after running gmer for checking my os for rootkit. Bsod log attachhed.

    Please check in %systemroot%\minidump for a dump, zip it and upload the zip.

    Sorry for late reply, i cheack folder C:\Windows\Minidump is empty. how could this happen?

    There can be a few reasons for why nothing is saved,
    • Improper settings, or settings need to be reconfigured
    • Hard drive problem,
    • Bug in Windows, happens rarely but there are Windows Updates released for this problem

    ok, until now no bsod screen show in my os, i think that is program(gmer) bug. thank for your information and help:)

GMER - Dumb or infected

Hello, I have a question for you Gentlemen. This morning I downloaded GMER, and went to run it and got what looked like a windows error message. Am I doing something wrong or am I compromised. Thanks very much for any help. I have run SAS and MAMB. Haven't run anything in safe mode yet. glennc
