Bad hard disk, Did windows reinstallation, slow, crashes blue screens

So 2 months ago i was shutting down my vaio laptop and i was in a hurry so i closed the lid while shutting down. i didnt get back on the laptop till the next day and it didnt boot like normal. it sent me to startup repair and i left it to scan for a good week and it told me it was a bad hard disk. i then ordered a windows installation disc and did the process of a clean installation since i couldnt do a upgrade. after a successful reinstallation i saw my network adapter wAs missing so then i reset my laptop to factory settings through vaio rescue care or something. it fixed the missing network driver and was working ok throighout the day until i started to actually do things on the computer like downloading a few programs i use. it was veryyy slow and kept freezing and programs kept say not responding. i even began to hear clunking noises in the laptop. it then crashed and lead to a blue screen and after that it said operating system not found. i typed in commands, using command prompt, "bootrec /fixmbr" "bootrec /fixboot" and "bootrec /rebuildbcd" and typed exit and restarted my pc. it boot and worked for a good 5 minutes into using it. then crashed again and typed the commands again and i got off the laptop for the rest of the night since i was so frustrated. im wondering how can i save my laptop from dying. i do not have the money to take it for professional help or to buy a new pc. i do not care to save any files as everything was already wiped. how can you save a bad hard disk which has clunking noises, or is it just completely done for good. please help

Hi Lingwing,
If the hard drive is on its last legs then you need to back up your data IMMEDIATELY.

Activation/Installation ID for reinstallation on a different hard disk
Hi, I have Windows 7 installed on a RAID 10 system, which I consider a bit risky (even though it is RAID 10, the motherboard isn't reliable; for example, if I disconnect a drive, and reconnect it, I fear - maybe falsely - that I would loose all data). Anyway, I want to reinstall fresh Windows on...
