I put the computer to sleep and got this error. After clicking ok I got a similar one and the screen went blank then the computer restarted. No blue screen.
Sleep mode isn't an option in Safe Mode.

Go upto Step 5.B. For the Hard Disk, apply this settings:
See how it goes. Let us know.
Then apparently sleep has nothing to do with your issue; coz the disk is not going to sleep.
Moreover, the screen you posted says ....

The second parameter, marked in yellow is the Error Status.
The description of the 0x7A bugcheck says ....
So in this situation I would ask you for another test, using Seatools for DOS this time.If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.

Just want to leave a message that I will be away on a trip (no internet, etc.) and such I will not be able to troubleshoot this issue until around the end of the month. Thanks to everyone for their help so far and I look forward to continuing working through this issue.
