BSOD on Dell Vostro 3550 Error 0x00000116

So I posted in another thread but I think the thread died anyways I own a Dell Vostro 3550 64 bit which was missing drivers once I reinstalled Windows 7.

Thanks to another thread I was able to find the necessary drivers, which by the way were only possible to download through Safe mode with the exception of the network controller, however I couldn't download the Fingerprint scanner driver. It said that windows installer does not work on safe mode and to use regular mode, but when i did it on regular mode it would download and unzip but wouldn't install like nothing happened after the filez unzipped. However now I have a blue screen problem so I can't eve go back to regular mode... the error is error 0x00000116

    The blue screen reads:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent problems to your computer, attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed. if this is the first time you've seen this eror screen restart your computer if this screen appears again, follow these steps:Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed if this is a new installation ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. if problems continue disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing If you need to use sage mode to remove or disable components restart your computer press F8 to selesct advanced startup options and then select safe mode. Technical information: STOP: 0x00000116

    Pls help
