    BSOD every restart

First of all I am VERY Windows illiterate. I am a long time Mac user and I use the Laptop running Window 7 for pretty much a single function. I understand a lot of info is required in order to help but my abilities in fetching this info will have to be the best I can do. Every time I shut down and restart this computer, I get "Windows did not shut down correctly" as well as other error messages. I am also lacking the ability to put my computer to sleep. the "Sleep" option is grayed out and only hibernate or shut down are available. When I do restart it asks in the "Safe mode"(?) "Start windows normally?" to which I press enter and I do always get my sign in screen. Sometimes I get a box show up asking to look up a solution which does nothing. In the error details, I get this:
    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 19
    BCP1: 00000022
    BCP2: 00120000
    BCP3: 00000000
    BCP4: 00000000
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\073016-19328-01.dmp
    C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-2044750-0.sysdata.xml

    Read our privacy statement online:
    Windows 7 Privacy Statement

If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline:
    C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt
How can I avoid this start up hassle and how can I get my computer to just sleep when not in use rather than shutting it down or putting it in hibernate mode. I will attempt to attach the zip file as per the posting in this thread instructions.

    Interesting.
As that comp only came with XP.
I suspect that when Ultimate was installed, it did so incorrectly
(not even sure if its man enough to support it).

please run this tool copy/paste the output

Just how you are shutting down is also a concern are you using the Start button for for that and waiting for the machine to close - you cannot just power it off.

To get into sleep mode you need to do this
Start > Control Panel > Power Options > Change when the computer sleeps - it will give you options for on battery and on mains power. You just then set it to what you want.
Thank you for the reply.I know enough not to use the physical hardware button to power down. I usually close whatever I have running and the Start> Shut down or hibernate.
When I do as you suggest to set how the power setting are, I do not have those options. I go to power settings and the option I get is "Choose what the power buttons do." It gives me On battery and plugged in drop down menus, no of which have the option to sleep. Just "Do nothing" "Hibernate" or "Shut down"

For the link you supplied "Dump Files-configure windows to create on BSOD" which of the three do I run? Complete memory dump, kernal memory dump or small memory dump?

As i said in my earlier post,
That comp only came with XP.
You have a counterfiet install using an activation exploit to bypass WAT.

Your Bios is dated YEARS prior to the release of W7.

Until you install a legitimate OS, no further assistance can be provided.
