it wouldnt work on the microsoft website to make an install usb either she had to verify it for me and give me a direct link for install media.

Once installed
Goto the DRIVERS homepage for your make/model, there should be one titled Utility it will for updating your drivers automatically.

think i fixed the freeze problem

oh man im sorry i ahvent been back is there anyway i could get that link again? but also i wanna add i have ben using the computer flawlessly and this is how i put it on top pof a house fan i think it was just overheating when i was using it and thats what causes all these random freezes ! i didnt think that couldve been the problem but apprently it was still cant use windows update though so i would like to reinstall winodws just to start fresh again. i have to get the fan replaced i opened the laptop up its clean no dust or dirt so i dont know why its overheating but ivebeen using it for 2 weeks with no freezes,thanks for trying to help me. i would love to get that link again though if i can.
