BSOD error 0x7B after changing motherboard
Hi guys ,
So last saturday I received my new motherboard ASROCK ep2c602-4l/d16 with 2 Intel Xeon e5 2670 CPUs and 16Gb of RAM ....
I initially have an ASUS P6T motherboard with an i7 QuadCore CPU and 10Gb of RAM ....
I moved everything to the new devices and since I have hundreds of 2D, 3D, music...etc... programs and plugins and add-ons and preferences installed on my initial computer , a fresh install of Windows is "not an option" ...
So after moving my GPU card, audio card and HDD , I got a nice blue screen .... I tried a lot of tutorials found on google (from my laptop) until yesterday....
Yesterday night, I managed to get my Windows 7 to work again on my old ASUS P6T mobo ....
So I plugged my HDD back to the new ASROCK and got the USBSTOR.sys error screen ... so I renamed the file to USBSTOR.sys.old (with a mini xp live CD) and managed to access the Safe Mode of Windows 7 from the new ASROCK mobo...
I then installed all the drivers except for USB Mass Storage (I guess it's due to the USBSTOR.sys missing) and the SAS Controller...I dont know why this one wont install properly ...
All the other drivers installed correctly in Safe Mode ....
So I restarted in order to boot Windows 7 in normal mode .... but right after the Windows logo , I get the 0x7B BSOD again ... And it seems like now I can't even go back to Safe Mode either...
I would like to know what to do exactly (except for a fresh install of course) ?
I think I can get Windows 7 to work again on my old ASUS mobo , but this is not the target...
