BSOD error 0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF88011162AB1...)

When I tried looking for AVG Watchdog I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought I had fully uninstalled AVG when I installed Microsoft Security Essentials, but I still see an AVG folder in the programs and x86 folders. I downloaded AVG Remover to try and uninstall any leftover AVG programs but after I ran it twice I still can see those AVG folders

Mate just a little thing I always do when uninstalling AV particularly using their own uninstall feature is to look in the registry for remnants.
Now you need to open the registry as the admin (Start > type regedit and right click run as admin) and go into HKEY's LOCAL_MACHINE & CURRENT_USER > open each up in turn and scroll down to Software > scroll down that listing and look for anything that has or is lined to AVG > if you find anything for AVG then right click and delete it - the whole thing see pic for an example. As I said look in each of those HKEY listings to do that.

Now BEFORE you do that do this FIRST in case you need to merge back or accidentally hit the wrong listing which you can merge back form the saved registry settings Registry - Backup and Restore

Hm I thought you would find some there actually Revo Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems will do a lot of the reg stuff but nothing beats checking yourself really.

The AOODDrivers could even be listed as the AVG was in the registry - worth a look because all my NVidia stuff are listed there those HKEYS but again if you do try that method do the backup again first .

Ok so there was nothing under AMD?? if there is it might be worth opening them out to see what sub entries there are in there see pic for example for my NVidia stuff.

To be honest I dumped AMD a long time ago for NVidia because of the constant issues with it and NVidia has been fabulous but that's your choice and budget of course.

Alright after some googling I have found the AODDrivers location in the regedit, they were located under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => SYSTEM => CurrentControlSet => Services and there I found 3 folders, AODDriver4.0, AODDriver 4.2.0, and AODDriver4.3. Now should I delete the 4.0 and 4.2.0 folders? I included pictures of the AMD folders and of the AODDrivers in the regedit.

When I checked the Device Manager for errors, I clicked to show hidden devices, and the AODDriver4.3 has a yellow exclamation mark next to it. There isn't any AODDrivers listed for 4.0 or 4.2.0 in the Device Manager.

Also towards the bottom of the regedit list with the AODDrivers I noticed a folder called "avguniva" which I googled and its an AVG universal file or something, I don't know if I should delete that too.

Some more information regarding the Net Framework, my programs and features list shows that I have 4.6.1 installed, but as the log says its 4.0. I don't know exactly why the Net Framework isn't updated since it seems the update is installed, just not being used for some reason.

No mate don't touch they System > Control set I am only wanting to know if the drivers are under Software for AMD.

Look I'll ask for some help because I am not real sure of where you are because the System > control set is usually part of the Windows OS and I only go there to set the Kill time for shut down the rest of it again I am not sure so sit tight for the time being - see my pic of that HKEY in my machine here and I found this tweak through this tutorial Optimize Windows 7 < Point 22 so do wait until we get some feedback.

Yes mate that is one of quite a few I found too and why I think it is wise to be a bit cautious at the moment. Problem is some of these sorts of softwares dig themselves into spots where you would least think of looking for them and I only found out remnants were left behind years ago when I was trying to delete Norton AV stuff and thinking to myself why was I still getting nags re Symantec stuff (brand name of Norton) and I stumbled over the reg entries and wondered what would happen if I got rid of the entries and bingo away went the nags!!

Sorry this is taking so long and well I might be wrong but there will be someone who has come across problems like yours soemtime.
