Hello hllava and welcome to 7 Forums :)

The 124 BugCheck code means that a fatal hardware error has occurred.

The faulting module was nvlddmkm.sys which is the graphics card driver for all NVIDIA based cards.

I would recommend that you update your graphics card drivers to the latest version here:

    Drivers | GeForce

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

    Cheers, Boris :)

No it's always recommended to have the latest drivers installed.

You can try to uninstall the drivers with DDU:

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.1.1

And after that you can run CCleaner to clean out anything that is left:

    https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

And then install the latest drivers, it might happen that the current nvlddmkm.sys driver has become corrupt and that's why you get this error.

    Cheers, Boris :)

I do this what you say me, but install 368.69 and looks fine. Now i go try The Witcher 3. No more errors there? It is possible that GPU is damaged?

    But thx for help anyway!

    edit:

After DDU, CC, nad oldier driver (368.69) AND this is funny... change bios from Slave to Master... I play 30min The Witcher 3 without freez. So, maybe bios crap, maybe driver... but very help, because i googling "nvlddmkm.sys" and watching reddit and find stable driver.
I have one more question... It may freez game because GPU donīt have enough energy?

And can I have open this topic for 2 days? When I have another problems?
    And one more thanks you.

I would be surprised if your GPU was broken.

I checked your hardware and you should have enough power for it.

Yes it can be open until we find a solution for your problem.

Oh no problem, happy to help :)

    So, have freez again.
I have freez in Slave and Master BIOS GPU. But now I dont have any error code, when I start W7. I add .dmp

Can you say me, where is problem? If is still nvdia driver or problems is another?

Or GPU is broken? But I don't have any artefacts.

    Thank you.

    Hello hllava.

We've now tried a bunch of stuff and well it hasn't worked out so I would like for you to update the BIOS:

    X99A-MPOWER Support

On the support page download the latest BIOS version - MB

When you have finished downloading, look on the support page there should be a button called Utility click it, after that you fill in your OS version, scroll down and download this utility:

I would also recommend that you read the user guide on how to update the BIOS.

    Good luck!

    Cheers, Boris :)

Thank you Boris, but my BIOS is lastest verison say "LIVE UPDATE 6".

When I use DDU and install AMD drivers (amd 7950) and it will work fine, it is possible evga from nvdie is broke?

So after testing with 7950 and all right, all fine, so I return 1070 to my seller. When I freez with 7950 it is possible, bad cabel, bad cpu or RAM but nothing. So there is only one way driver or GPU. But driver i try on w10, w7 same version from nvdia web. So I think it is broke GPU.

But Boris thank you a lot for help and I appreciate it. If you are from Czech Republic I would buy a beer.

Yes if it works completely fine with AMD then I would assume the GPU is broken but I'm not sure, ask the shop where you bought it from!

Well I wouldn't say no to some pivo

I hope you get your issue fixed with the seller, good luck!

    Cheers, Boris :)
