I recently suffered through a BSOD on this machine, which, according to the faulting module code was connected to a 4 GIG flash drive which was being used for Ready boost.

I removed the device, but ever since then, I have a problem with Windows Explorer constantly crashing. I tried using my original install disk to do a repair install, but it would only get the blue Windows install screen and no text or install options were present (blank screen). Windoes update also wont work. Belark Advisor reports that I am missing a bunch of security updates. Please help if you can, as I cannot afford to build/upgrade with newer hardware.
