    BSOD intermittently, errors 0x000000d1, 0x000000c2, 0x00000116

    Greetings,
I've been having repeated BSOD, mostly with error 0x000000d1. At first I thought it might be my C: drive, which was fairly old, so I replaced it, reinstalled my OS (Win7Pro64SP1), and reinstalled a good deal of software. And now it's doing the BSOD thing again. It's sometimes while I'm using the machine and, at other times, while it's just sitting there idling. I have yet to find a pattern as to what's causing the problem. I'd very much appreciate any assistance you could provide, as this is driving me crazy. Thanks!

Hello sethfinkle and welcome to 7Forums! :)

Could you please be so kind and run the tool provided in this thread again?

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

Thanks in advance, there is a lot missing, normally there should be like 18 txt files, one nfo file and several dmp files.

Currently there are a number of dmp files and a few text files which are good to begin with but we need all files to do the troubleshooting!

    Cheers, Boris :)

    Alright, thank you.

So a couple of the dump files point towards your M-Audio Fast Track Pro Sound Card causing some of the BSODs. And I guess this is the only place where you'll get drivers for it:

    Fast Track Pro Drivers

And the rest of the dump files pointed towards nvlddmkm.sys which is the driver for your NVIDIA Quadro graphics card, I would recommend that you use DDU in safe mode to uninstall the graphics card drivers:

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.2.0

And once you have used DDU and you have booted back into W7, please head on over to GeForce to download the latest drivers for your graphics card:

    Drivers | GeForce

That's all for now, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

    Cheers, Boris :)

Thanks- will give your suggestions a try. I've been suspicious of my drivers and will actually try rolling back the audio interface driver to the last version released by M-Audio before Avid bought the company. I've been reading that this is not uncommon, as the Avid drivers are apparently super buggy. Will report back when I have some results.
