    BSOD happening during any task on laptop.


    Hello , my girlfriend owns an ASUS laptop and she has been getting BSOD at random times doing random things like browsing or writing in wordpad. I compiled the dumps as instructed by the forum for you guys.

    She hopes you can help out, as I am clearly not experienced enough to help her. Thanks in advance.

    Hello badlifer.

    Unfortunately the report folder you uploaded is almost empty and we will need more files and information about the laptop and system specs, normally when the DM-log collector runs it has collected in the end at least 19 text files, 1 nfo file and a couple of dmp files, so please try to run the tool again!

    I'd like for you to check if you are following the guide to 100%.
    I am really following them 100%, since the first failed attempt. Any idea what can be wrong? Any alternatives? The programs is running and zipping the thing but it comes to you empty

If we are scheduling a task on the basis of event log, then refresh is not happenning in case of dropdown. select in the log any event which has only one source. now select explorer in the log, it does not have any corresponding source, now dropdown of source is showing size for one item. Now...
BSOD Randomely Happening on Laptop

Running a Toshiba laptop approx 2 years old. It's a 2ghz dual core with 2gb ram. Was running Win XP Pro which came pre installed from factory but BSOD was happening at random times and regularly. Updated with a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and installed AVG AV and Office 2007....
