The Cooler Master guys gave me the distributors web address and told me to claim my RMA through them. I filled up the form and now I am waiting. Distributors keeps changing, three years ago Cooler Master's distributor was someone else now it's someone else. Had to dig through the internet to find the phone number.

Yeah, at first I was angry, for the way that shopkeeper's son talked to me. He was totally clueless. The dad's ok, but he barely visits the shop nowadays. The days of retail shops, for computer parts at least are over I believe. Why would I buy from them, if they won't give me any support. He should have atleast given me a phone number to contact.

So, here's the update. Yesterday the guys from ACROrma asked me to ship the PSU. I just came back from the courier's office and paid approx 11$ to ship it. Hopping to receive a good one in the end.

Ok mate now you are so right about retail shops these days they employ so many people who are clueless as to what they are selling, and out here is a prime example because I only have to hear the first few words of what they say to know I am being fed BS.

In particular are the young ones who are just out of school and wet behind the ears as they know everything and and done everything. Mind you I do like playing along with some just for a bit of a laugh to myself

Anyway lets look forward to getting the new one and we can get this machine of yours sorted

Hi, my PSU arrived today. Received a new GX650, the one with 100% Japanese capacitors. I have installed it checked the voltage and it looks good. The computer is working well too :)

So, I am happy with Cooler Master's support, and I think I made a good choice by choosing the psu with 5 years warranty rather than the one with 3 years

Ok Bubba that looks to be a nice PSU mate and it is a single 12v rail which is even better. Plus i do like the flat cable setup too much easier to keep tidy

If you haven't seen it this is the ad for it - it shows you just about everything about the device

Yeah that's the one I received. Funny thing though it says "This product is only available in: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.". My country isn't listed. Wonder how I got it

And I do like to thank you and the members for pointing me to the right direction.
