Hello and welcome Lucas mate usually that atikmpag.sys is usually resolved by uninstalling the Catalyst Control Centre and running the graphics using the driver for the card only - have you tried that at all?

    Try the minimal setup APU

Thanks so far for the assistance. Could someone read the attached file. As my card amd Radeon hd 7650m is now legacy so a specific minimal setup is not there. Have stayed for too long with this error.

Lucas mate here is no attached file - just what sort of file or whatever are you trying to attach.

You need some other drivers too,

    Code:
PCI Simple Communications Controller	PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E3A&SUBSYS_17F6103C&REV_04\3&21436425&0&B0	The drivers for this device are not installed.
    Code:
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller	PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_17F6103C&REV_04\3&21436425&0&A0	The drivers for this device are not installed.
Both of those should be under the chipset tab at HP here,

Drivers & Software for HP ProBook 4540s Notebook PC - HP Support Center.

The reason you should install those first is at the moment, your AMD card isn't recognized as AMD but the hardware ID does show it is,

    Code:
    Name	Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
    PNP Device ID	PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6841&SUBSYS_17F4103C&REV_00\4&23BBD831&5&0008
    Adapter Type	Not Available
Adapter Description	Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
    Adapter RAM	Not Available
    Installed Drivers	Not Available
    Driver Version	Not Available
    INF File	Not Available
    Color Planes	Not Available
    Color Table Entries	Not Available
    Resolution	Not Available
    Bits/Pixel	Not Available
It only shows the Intel graphics at the moment. They are listed above that.

There are 3 drivers under chipset, you may only need 2 but try all three, I know the USB ones you need, the other 2 will cover that PCI device.

After that, I would try the AMD driver from HP, this is a laptop, that should be your first try for drivers,

    Same place under graphics,

Drivers & Software for HP ProBook 4540s Notebook PC - HP Support Center.

And incase you want it you need a Bluetooth driver too,

    Code:
Ralink_RT3290_Bluetooth_01	USB\VID_148F&PID_3298&REV_0000\5&231CDD01&0&01	The drivers for this device are not installed.
That is a little over half way down under network tab,
