Hi There,

I am extremely confused by these BSODS I have been getting for the last few weeks. No new drivers were installed, no new software was installed, and I haven't changed setting in the days before I started receiving the BSOD. My computer has crashed about 5 times in the past 2 weeks. I have ran every test I could think of; CPU stress test (Prime and Intel's), Graphics stress test, memory checker, chkdsk, and HP's built in system test utility that I let loop for 3 days last week. Nothing was found in either test. I also installed the latest Graphics and chipset drivers thinking that would fix it, but unfortunately it started again today. Sometimes I will be browsing the web, while other times working on Tekla (similar to autocad).

I included a zip file of my BSOD logs and system specs. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have exhausted my resources(brain). :)

Thanks!

Hello and welcome Steven mate the one thing you haven't mentioned are th temps in the machine especially the CPU can you please use this Speccy - Free Download - Piriform (download form piriform only) and post back the results - it is indicating there is a hardware problem so it meanss just working through them.

Code:
BUGCHECK_STR: [COLOR="Red"]0x124[/COLOR]_GenuineIntel
if you cannot get the temps in Speccy because of the blue screens then use the BIOS.

How old is the hardware?

I have ran every test I could think of; CPU stress test (Prime and Intel's), Graphics stress test, memory checker, chkdsk, and HP's built in system test utility that I let loop for 3 days last week
Could you be more specific in what tests you ran for the graphics and memory.

Please upload the chkdsk log :ar: Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log

I am not an active Windows 7 user, so I would like to ask how long it (usually) takes to boot your system.
The answer to the question will tell us what we should focus on.

In reference to an earlier quote in post #1 just what memory test/check did you do?
I ask because the only memtest we recommend is this RAM - Test with Memtest86+

The Windows feature is in my mind worth running and with this test you MUST let it run for at least 8 passes - otherwise you may as well not bother. Having said that if the errors appear before the 8 passes are up then you can stop it and start to figure out which stick is bad. In some cases it can possibly be a bad slot but that is quite uncommon.

I did use memtest86 and let it run for 16 hours. It ran 8 passes I believe and nothing was found.

Ok that's good then I might just add to what axe has suggested with the chkdsk and that is whether it might be a good idea to run it with the /f and /r switches as well.
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2

Having said that I would like to get axe's comment about that before you go ahead.

Only the /r switch is necessary, because it includes the /f switch, run the chkdsk command I mentioned earlier: chkdsk c: /r.

If done correctly, the MFT should be corrected
