Hi Axe0,

The command prompt replies for the first 2 files:
The system cannot find the path specified...

Also screenshot attached.

Alright, I have changed a few things.
Please try again with the following code
Code:
copy %SystemRoot%\minidump\*.dmp "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\"&dxdiag /t %Temp%\dxdiag.txt&copy %Temp%\dxdiag.txt "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\"&type %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts >> "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\hosts.txt"&systeminfo > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt"&driverquery /v > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\drivers.txt" &msinfo32 /nfo "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\msinfo32.nfo"&wevtutil qe System /f:text > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\eventlog.txt"&reg export HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\uninstall.txt"&reg export "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components" "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\installed.txt"&net start > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\services.txt"&REM wmic startup list full /format:htable >"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\startup.html"&wmic STARTUP GET Caption, Command, User >"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\startup.txt"
If there are still problems we'll have to collect the files one-by-one.

Please note, it may take a few minutes before the commands are finished.

Hi Axe0,

I tried again, and also added the screenshot of the commandprompt.
Unfortunately I am pretty sure that although the bsod says a dump file is created it is not there.

Kind regards,

Pieter

I cannot find any trace saying that an actual bluescreen had occured, or it must be one that relates to HDD issues.

Hi axe0,

That seems weird, I just runned your command again, after I created intentionately a BSOD and changed some settings for the dump files.

Hopefully you can find anything in this dump...
If it might be the HDD what are my options?

Kind regards,

Pieter

Again no log about a bluescreen, only an unexpected shutdown.

This makes me think that the problem is more a blackscreen.

That might be it....the laptop goes into hibernation and the screen turns black...than it takes a while (couple of minutes) till the BSOD shows up
