BSOD - Windows 7 - 0x00000124 Error - Hardware Exception Error

Team,

I have Lenevo T450 Laptop - Intel Core i5-5200 CPU @ 2.20 GHz, with 8 GB RAM and I have been getting BSOD often. Additional configuration are given below:

Motherboard: ACPI\PNP0C02
HDD: SCSI

I have already ran Windows Memory Diagnostics and no issues have been detected.

I have ran CHKDSK and no hard disk issues have been found.

The BIOS configuration is default and no overclocking or changes in configuration are made.

I have used the BlueScreenView software as well to analyze the reasons and the output along with the Dump File & System Configuration (SYSDATA) can be accessed at:

dump files

I have looked up various forums for HAL.DLL related issues, I have updated all drivers, Windows 7 is upto date.

My HAL.DLL was last updated on 11/20/2010 - 10:24 PM with file version : 6.1.7601.17514

Please advise what could be an issue here?

Regards,
Arvind

Hello and welcome arvindrkrishnen now I suspect you have an issue with the CPU as the dump is showing up what is below and is indicative of something amiss with the CPU

Code:
BugCheck 124,
So could you let us know what the temp is on the CPU please use this to check Speccy - Free Download - Piriform or you can check in the BIOS too but the Speccy is probably good enough.

Having said this have you checked to see if the inside of the machine is clean and reasonably free from dust and crud??

Now the Windows memory test is not that good mate and the only one we recommend is linked in this
MEMTEST
Now to make absolutely we are on the same page the memtest linked here is the*only*one we recommend and it MUST be run for at least 8 passes or you may as well not bother. It is rather lengthy and best left for a downtime for that machine - overnight is good. Having said that you can stop the test if errors show up while you are around and then it is a matter of tracking down the bad stick of RAM.* RAM - Test with Memtest86+

The hal.sys and PSHED dumps are referenced as Windows updates issues and to be honest that could be just about anything.

Now the chkdsk is fine and did you also run a sfc?
