Games / Videos / Streams give me BSOD

When opening any games, watching youtube videos, twitch streams and sometimes simply looking at GIFs will cause a BSOD error

It has also BSOD when I tried to upgrade to windows 10, so it's not just graphics related? Not sure.

Hello and welcome Jordan now mate this is almost certainly a hardware issue but first please see this and follow
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.
    *(pretyped to save time)

    Code:
    BUGCHECK_STR: 0x124_AuthenticAMD
As this could be anything I would start by doing a memtest see this
Now to make absolutely we are on the same page the memtest linked here is the only*one we recommend and it MUST be run for at least 8 passes or you may as well not bother. It is rather lengthy and best left for a downtime for that machine - overnight is good. Having said that you can stop the test if errors show up while you are around and then it is a matter of tracking down the bad stick of RAM.* RAM - Test with Memtest86+
(This is pretyped to save time)
Please make sure this is the test you use and it runs for those number of minimum passes. It does take quite a while to run.

Sorry late reply mate been asleep

Ok now that is the first test of a few that we might have to do but it will be good if it tests up ok but in a sense not good as it will mean digging around for other problem components.

Now just out of curiosity what is the Logmein Mirror against the GPU specs?? If it is what I am assuming then you have used a mirror site for downloading the driver?? If so then always best mate to go to the manufacturers site as I never use after market sites to download drivers for anything. There have been times when I have used a driver finder site but only in desperation and then only one particular software.

Just in case this is right this is the driver you need Drivers | GeForce

Need to get a hold of a USB but then i'll start, as for the LogMeIn drivers i'm not quite sure. I only used the GeForce Experience program from their website to install new drivers

Alright, so MemTest is currently running on its 17th hour, and has done 4 full passes with 0 errors so far. I was wondering if it taking this long is normal for 2X8GB RAM or if i've done something wrong.

Now that does seem to be a long time Jordan but it really does need to run those 8 passes now I don't know if it has something to do with the CPU or RAM speeds but if you could persist it is as I said what is needed.

It isn't something you have done wrong my friend and I have seen the test take much longer than that. Having said that wait and see what happens in the next few hours because if you stop it now then you are never going to know if the RAM is ok.

No thats good mate as soon as it hits past #8 pass it can be stopped if no errors and well done for being patient - the name of the game when it comes to this stuff.
