BSOD - Excel 2016 (MSO365) App Hang/App Error various error codes

    Good Day,

Been having an issue with Excel for a while. I have tried quite a few things that i would have thought could have fixed it, first tested it with a new machine (exactly the same spec as this machine) still did the same thing, reinstalled office on this machine and the other machine, both x86 and x64 versions neither made a difference would still crash to BSOD. increased page file size doubly, crash still happened machine is up to date with all things, disabled anti virus and uninstalled it aswell but it is still happening.

Is there anything else that could be done to resolve this? I have even tried contacting HP with this issue, they replaced the Motherboard and CPU in the machine for "incase it was a hardware fault on the machine" yet that was just a waste of time as it still does it.

Last BSOD was on the 3 March 2017. i was in the process of restarting my machine and it went to BSOD.

    Hi Michelle,
there's only 1 dump file dated December, gonna need current ones.

    Apart from that tho,

abyy fine print is known to cause this (bundled in printer software)
A bad block was reported, only once OCT 2016, please run chkdsk /r
Raid 0 keeps reseting, are your Bios/ Intel drivers (IRST) upto date
Try removing the Foxit plug-in in Firefox
IE11 and explorer.exe keep falling over as well

are you running it in VSS

    Roy

your print queue is degrading, 12 of them all todays

    NB
I suspect youve allredy done it, but as its all the company finances, Make an external back-up

All our work is server based linked via network drives, hardly work on any local documents, just to add to my problem when i restarted my machine it went into a BSOD loop when getting to the starting windows and windows logo screen the four little balls of colour would appear and then as they would merge into the windows symbol they would freeze get a split second BSOD and then it would restart again, i went to last known good configuration to overcome this loop.

I have a problem with Java in terms of IE11 which hopefully is now sorted it would crash IE alot but i would not bluescreen from it, unless it froze and i restarted my machine.

i will run the checkdisk, from what i know my machine is as up to date and what windows can tell me it is, is there anyway i could tell if something was not up-to-date?

The plugin will be as good as gone. another thing is it is not consistent it could go for a week without a problem and a day after everything begins failing, so it could look like its fixed but its inevitably going to fail somewhere.

    Hi Michelle,

Still need the dumps to analize the fault/s

    Intel have a driver checker

    Intel(R) Driver Update Utility

As a back up in your HP suite there should be a driver updater, run that as well

    Java
    http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
(didnt realise it inter-acted with IE11)

    wouldn't hurt to run
    sfc /scannow (note the space)
