BSOD when streaming videos

I've been having this problem every so often. I'm not sure if there is a pattern, but randomly my computer will go BSOD in the middle of streaming a video. I was able to make the issue go away for awhile by 'disabled hardware accelerator' on the browser settings, but the issue is still popping up.

Also I read about updating my graphics driver and so I used the Intel Driver App from this site and it found an updated graphics driver but when I tried to install it, my monitor went black screen in the middle of the process.

I just discovered that I didn't have hardware accelerated unchecked on Firefox (which I've been using more often lately when the issue popped back up), so maybe this was the issue. If someone could still look at my info and see if another issue might be the cause, let me know.

I think your issue is related to Firefox, this is what the debug tool shows is causing the BSOD. I don't know if you want to uninstall/reinstall Firefox or look for a new version of it.. Hope this helps.

You could check if there are

1. 18 .txt,
2. 1 .nfo,
3. 1 or more .dmp,

files present, if this is the case then all logs are present :)
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required :)

In the command prompt that runs with the DM Log Collector it listed 7 .dmp files at the beginning. The Zip file has 18 .txt. files, 1 .nfo file, and 7 .dmp files.

As for Firefix I haven't re-installed it yet because I'm hesitant to lose all my favorites and bookmarks, but it is currently on the latest updated version.

Sorry for the delay about doing this next step, but I thought the problem had gone away, but I had a Black SOD and BSOD yesterday and I don't even think I was using video at the time.

So I made a backup disc and did a system restore point. I started driver verifier and I've had it running an hour or two now doing pretty much the same kind of things I did when I got the BSOD, but now nothing. Can I shut down my computer with it still on and come back later or do I have to leave it on? What if I'm not there when it crashes?

I've run the Verifier for 36 hours without any BSOD. I think that is because the error is so random. I tried streaming video (though because of the verifier it was running so slow that streaming was hard) and having multiple programs open without a crash.

I still think it is somehow related to my graphics driver. Before I downloaded an Intel driver detector from their site which scans your computer and finds the outdated drivers. It did want me to update the graphics driver and that one only but when I tried to update I got a black screen of death halfway through the update process.

How do I go about updating that driver without the crash?

I also noticed that I did not the settings so that if a BSOD occurs, the computer actually creates a minidump file and reboots. It would always get stuck at like 75% on the blue screen. I've changed the settings but haven't had a crash since doing it.

If another BSOD crash occurs will this allow me to do able to open the file afterwards and help identify the reason for crashing?
