    BSOD help

I was happily playing BOTF when i had a BSOD first for a while for this pc but dofferent in that i am sure i saw it had something to do with "tcpip.sys" instead of rebooting on its own i had to click for the computer to start normally after an unepected shutdown

You mentioned in an earlier post that this is an old program.
If so, you may be running it on a version of windows under which it is not compatible.
You may want to try setting a compatibility mode for the version of windows that you originally used when the program was new.
Select a compatibility mode by right clicking on the ".exe" file which starts the program and then selecting "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

    Hi Mickyd,

First off, I (and possibly others?) requested your threads to be merged.

The crash looks to be caused by your security programs, I would suggest to start by removing McAfee as a test. McAfee is the one mostly known for causing BSODs.
