Hi Burn,
Thanks for that.

Can you still not get the dump files??

if not for starters please run from an elevated command mode
sfc /scannow

The BSODs do not happen often enough for me to constantly try, adjusted some settings for the next time it happens. I'll run the scannow tomorrow an post the results for you.

running that SFC command is certainly worthwhile at any time, it identifies and tries to repair any BASE system problems, consider it a pre-emptive strike, and if it identifies anything then run SURT KB947821 another system repair tool.

ran sfc command it did find something, attached the log file. I assume this(System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014]) is what you mean by SURT KB947821?

edit: downloaded and ran the above tool, it installed but did nothing afterwards. did I miss something?
edit 2: found the log files for KB947821 and attached them, was just expecting the process to take longer i guess.

SURT could take hours, it depends on the corruption how long it runs.

SURT from what i saw installed and never did anything but generated logs. ran the SFC /scannow command again and the corruption is still there. Am I doing something wrong with the SURT?

Is there anything I need to do about the 6 errors it found but couldn't fix?

If you have your installation media, you could run an offline scan
SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot - Windows 7 Help Forums

NO need to worry about those 6 remaining errors, (all Avast).

Theres a bug in the Avast uninstaller, the only thing they might affect is updating.

You could try thier uninstaller again in SAFE mode.
