when I shut down I crash

    After a Clean Install I always, I say again 'always' install all programs (new/fresh). Then I update said programs.
    In the long run it has less problems.

    Yep I do the same as Jack and any of the programs I have on the stick will or usually flash up any updates to that program I keep things like my AV Macrium, Partition Wizard etc on the same stick and periodically re download one the I know often updates like Partition wizard.

This has happened quite a few times. I will be minding my own business on YouTube or something and suddenly the internet will stop working. I'll check the router and modem. No issue there.
